You wanna heal? sorry thatll be an icon on the crafting menu. It's so baffling that in 2023 we're STILL dealing with the bs of menu's being shoved in our faces on loop OVER and OVER. The only difference is that ironically Far Cry 6 has LESS menus and they learned to tone it down in past installments. Imagine the meme of "Ubisoft Games in 2030" where theres 50 menus on the screen but someone at Techland was like."yo.lets make that real". You'll be constantly second guessing what the hell youre supposed to be doing and if your movements are being picked up. Im not exaggerating when I say that literally nothing in this game feels good. You wanna run? Too bad youre going to run out of stamina in 3 seconds then sit still with your ♥♥♥♥ in your hand You wanna climb? Enjoy holding space for several minutes for your character to do thier animations before running out of stamina. You wanna jump? Enjoy a full second of wind up for it after you press space The first game had such a good system that it is genuinely baffling that they messed this up as bad as they did. Remember pressing R to do a quick repair mid fight in DL1? yeah its gone now for the sake of idk.immersion? And speaking of reactions, you dont even get knockback when hit so good luck even knowing WHEN youre getting hit before just dropping dead. Oh and when your ♥♥♥♥ breaks then it just vanishes. Like, how did this get messed up so badly to where a DYING LIGHT game doesnt have decent melee? They have almost no reaction to being hit besides a snappy flick to the left or right that makes it feel like youre hitting them with a stick. Unlike the grounded fluid swinging and enemy reactions of the first game, now you have enemies who will just snap around and move like superheros from rooftop to rooftop. Take the fluid movement and combat of the first game now remove all the fluidity and make everything as snappy as possible.
